Last night, [July 1, 2010], the House of Representatives passed the education jobs funding by a vote of 239-182!
Your voices and those of educators across the nation were heard in this critical vote for the future of our nation’s schools.

This was an important victory, but our work is not done. The Senate will take up the legislation after the July 4th recess, so keep up the calls and e-mails!
